On Wednesday 5th February, the University of St Andrews Women’s Lacrosse First Team played the University of Nottingham’s Lacrosse Second Team at home at 2pm.
Nottingham proved to be a challenge for the Saints. They played aggressively, especially on offense, charging the goal every chance they got. On the other side of the pitch, St Andrews put up a great fight. They matched Nottingham's aggression and put in the work to outscore them 5-3 in the second half.
The Saints left it all out on the pitch, but St Andrews ultimately fell short with a final score of 15-7. They are off with no game for this coming week, but the Saints travel away to face Newcastle on the 19th and have their last home game on the 26th against Manchester.
