With Fresher’s Week at an end, it may seem like things are winding down as students prepare for an onslaught of work. But not to fear – there’s still plenty of events taking place! Whether you want a taste of Scottish culture, to dance the night away at the Vic or cling on to the last of the September sun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Beach Reels, Tuesday 13th September at 6:30pm

St Andrews Caledonian Society is hosting its much-loved beach reels on West Sands this Tuesday. This event is the perfect casual introduction to its more formal reeling balls for dancers and non-dancers alike! For more information: https://rb.gy/7mlds1

Rear Window Film Screening, Thursday 15th September at 7pm

DTF: UFO, Thursday 15th September at 10pm

Following its Fresher’s Week Soundwave event, Down to Funk is returning to the Vic, giving students the chance to unwind after a hectic schedule of Week 1 classes with its usual eclectic mixture of disco, house, and funk music. For more information: https://rb.gy/nnmbi0

Aperitivo on the Beach, Friday 16th September at 5:45pm

Pimm’s: The Garden Party, Saturday 17th September at 12pm

Taking over the beautiful setting of Earshall Castle, the Lumsden Club is hosting a garden party complete with plenty of Pimm’s to celebrate the end of summer.
