Top 5 Things To Do This Week

Time flies whenever you are having fun, but the freshers’ flu has a way of slowing things down. Check out the following 5 events to catch this week if you are needing to unwind, relax, yet still be a social butterfly.

1. Great Glen Hillwalking Expedition, October 1-3rd

If you are needing an escape from studies and social events, why not take a stroll through the Scottish Highlands with Breakaway on October 1-3rd. All are welcomed, whether you are an avid backpacker or just beginning your travels, Breakaway is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and create an aesthetically pleasing Instagram post!

From Ella Fitzgerald to Frank Sinatra to Jason Moran, the beautiful and complex rhythms of jazz are always helpful when relaxing and unwinding. So after you’ve taken your daily dose of cough syrup why not join the greats at the Main Bar this upcoming Thursday, September 30th from 8pm-10pm.

3. Karaoke Night, Friday 1st October

4. Pub Quiz, Sunday 3rd October

“Are you smarter than a 5th grader?” No, but really. Bring your friends and come test your IQ at the Main Bar this Sunday, October 3rd from 8pm to 10pm. See who’s the smartest and win £100 if you truly are a brainiac.

5. STAAG Sunset Hike and Bonfire, Wednesday 29th Sept
