Saints Volleyball is on track for another stand out season. It was Women in Sports Week September 30th – October 6th, and the women’s First Team celebrated in appropriate fashion with the defeat of the University of Aberdeen First Team 3-2 on October 6th. The women’s Second Team followed suit, sweeping the University of Strathclyde First Team 3-0 the same day.
First Team captain and men’s Second Team coach Bryn Buist-Haverkamp is optimistic about the season. She says her goal for the women’s First Team is to win the BUCS League and the Scottish Cup.
Men’s First Team captain and women’s Second Team coach Jake Erlewine is looking forward to gelling with the team. He says his goal is to have team bonding and all-around positive vibes. He has set his sights on winning the Scottish Plate.
If you are looking for an exciting day of volleyball, the St Andrews Sports Center on Sunday, October 13th will be all you need. There are three home fixtures for volleyball with the men’s First Team starting the day off with a match against the University of Aberdeen First Team at 11:00.

The women’s First Team is looking to continue their winning streak with a match against the University of Edinburgh Second Team at 13:30. The women’s Second Team finish off the day with a game against the University of Glasgow Second Team at 16:00.
